Our company, which has been a pioneer in the production of dairy products and especially cheese varieties since 1936, aimed to turn cheese production into an industry that contributes significantly to the country’s economy. By making serious investments on this path, we offered packaged cheese to Turkish consumers for the first time in Turkey. This situation has created a new era in the milk and dairy products industry.

Our group has brought its brand awareness to the forefront by offering the packaged products it produces by adopting the traditional production style, to the Turkish consumer. This process also ensured a strong and reliable TACIROĞLU & PEYSAN brand awareness.

In line with the same objectives, we continued to be a pioneer in the dairy products market by creating the brand PEYSAN, which is a standard quality mass production, and establishing the Peysan Gıda San. A.Ş. in 1979. Our company has created a new industry branch in Turkey and contributed to the country’s economy.

In addition to all this traditional cheese production, we produced Jadel cheese, which is one of the popular cheese types in the Middle East market, for the first time in Turkey in 1987 by bringing in experts from abroad for demo production. However, due to the fact that unbranded productions were very common, this product was immediately imitated and started to be sold unpackaged under the name of plaited cheese in the markets.

PEYSAN is the first Turkish company to import the French LA VACHE QUI RİT (The Laughing Cow)) branded products by getting the Turkey distributorship of the French Fromageries Bel firm, which is the homeland of this type of cheese, in 1984, and to distribute them all over Turkey with its own sales network and present it to Turkish consumers. Subsequently, by taking the distributorship of the French company Besnier Lactacis, it imported PRESIDENT branded cheese and butter.

With these activities, PEYSAN drew attention to Turkey abroad and continued to provide added value to the Turkish economy by creating a market. Accordingly, it has made room in Turkish tables for cheeses such as Emmantel, Gouda, Edam, Camambert, Brie Madrigal, Roquefort (Moldy Cheese), known as European type cheeses in the world, as well as fresh pasteurized cheeses, sliced and triangular cheese varieties, and butter in various flavors and packages.

PEYSAN is the first Turkish company to produce ULTRA FILTRATION CHEESE under the name of PEYSAN Çiftlik in Denmark for the first time, and to import UNCLE BEN’S rice and launch this brand to Turkey.

Our company, which has been a pioneer in all innovations in the dairy products and cheese sector in our country with the brands TACIROĞLU & PEYSAN, has always succeeded in breaking new ground; It carries out its production in it’s modern production facilities and laboratory, established on an area of 30,000 m2 in Edirne, which was put into operation in 1978, completely naturally, using Cow, Sheep and Goat milk according to the quality of the products, and every stage of its production is under the supervision of experienced engineers and technical personnel.

Since our facility has food safety certificates such as BRCGS FOOD and HALAL food certificate, it is constantly audited by foreign inspection companies and Turkish inspection organizations such as Tübitak and TSE.

In addition to the PEYSAN & TACIROĞLU brands, our group has nearly 40 trademark registration certificates and patents, such as Sele – Mayıs – Şef – Kaşkaval – Ekonom – Binboğa – BTH – Siyah İnci – Sarıkız – Kral – Ali Babanın Çiftliği, which it has registered since 1977 in line with the importance it attaches to branding. Our products, which we produce with the traditional taste, quality and completely hygienic conditions, are offered to the taste of the consumers through our sales and marketing networks organized throughout the country.

Within the scope of Social Responsibility Projects, TACIROĞLU & PEYSAN cooperates with Turkiye’s leading universities (Bogazici, – Istanbul – İTU – METU – Bahçeşehir Universities) in order to apply what they have studied and to find job opportunities, especially while studying.
